![]() ![]() Exception would be skaven or greenskins as goblin armies and skaven armies always get the short end of the auto resolve stick. Honestly, i think its easier to just build a balanced strong army because you can achieve similar auto resolve success as most races while having the option to fight if you need to. I would advise just a mix of expensive late tier units and a few heroes and that + garrison, i dont think youll ever lose auto resolve. The most efficient might be just a stack of heroes and Phoenix guard as HE although the risks with that is when you do encounter an autoresolve you cant win fighting the battle is rough. A general rule is the higher the cost the better it does in auto resolve although there are plenty of exceptions. Princes/heroes do as well.Īs greenskins giants, spiders, black orcs, and doom divers pump it up. no single units like monsters and no cavalryĪs high elves dragons, elite cav/ archers, and pheonix guard pump up your auto resolve. many ranged units (kill all the stuff while being protected by those melee meat shields) a number of cheap melee units (die in every battle but absorb most of the damage) If it's still valid, I'm guessing this would work well: I wonder if this old post is still valid? I think there have been some changes to AR in the last months. But strong enough to beat AI stacks with the help of a garrison. Should be as cheap as possible because much of the time these armies will just sit somewhere. So I was thinking how to build the most effective army for pure auto-resolving. These armies should do that by auto-resolving battles so I don't get fatigued by having to fight all those usually boring battles. So I'm thinking how I could focus on 3-4 main armies that will fight the wars while my other armies guard my established territory, dealing with rebellions, invaders, raiders. ![]() I'm thinking how to streamline my next Warhammer II campaign because managing so many armies is getting tedious in the late game.
